Now in the fourth and fifth generations, Enzo Brezza took charge of winemaking in 1989his godfather was the ultra traditionalist Bartolo Mascarello, a fitting influence for a producer committed to tradition. Sarmassa is an MGA in Barolo commune, recognized alongside Cannubi among the village's finest crus. The vineyard sits at
