His wife was the legendary French soprano Emma Calv. Signed photograph, shown as Don Jose in Bizet's Carmen, dated in 1923. Stamped on verso by photographer Aime Dupont. Size is 5 x 7 inches, small tear on bottom right, otherwise in very good condition.
